"I've been working with Thrive Learning Institute for about 2 weeks now and I have learned so much. I was especially surprised as to how simple it is. The basic rules of the internet make so much sense and I can really put it to good use with my new website. The web builder they provided me with was very easy to figure out. I have no web building experience so at first I was a little nervous. They have a full web builder tech line you can call if you have any questions which was very helpful for me. The marketing department has been very helpful and I am really looking forward to the next couple of weeks because traffic is already starting to flow to my site."
The rest of the testimonials are from a bunch of guys selling their "CRAP" on eBay. I am confused as to why these individuals needed to pay several thousands dollars in training to sell on eBay when you can buy a $20 book to learn how to do that.

CONCLUSION
Many people get very upset after learning the truth about the company they trusted. However I see both Pros and Cons for signing up with ThriveLI.
Pros:
ThriveLI gets people involved in eCommerce Business. Without Thrive those people would probably still be thinking of what they should do with their life. ThriveLI sets people on the right direction "Motivation".
The price they charge $4,000 - $14,000 is a high price, but they simply must charge that in order to sustain a business like ThriveLI. They have a huge knowledgeable sales team, they convert a few people out of every thousand of leads. Imagine what it takes to speak to all these people, get them motivated, get them to understand and go as far as paying a lot of money for watching videos that Thrive has provided? That takes A LOT of work. If I was running an operation like ThriveLI, I would not charge any less. For individuals who signed up with ThriveLI, shouldn't be upset at them for not providing what was promised. Indeed it was a deceptive practice, but if you understand that the money you paid was your TOLL into the eCommerce industry you should feel better. It takes a lot to convince someone to get off their butt and start working towards an idea of an eCommerce business. If Thrive customers fail with Thrive, and most will, hopefully they will go else where with a better understanding of what they need to succeed in the next business venture. Every business venture has it's risks, and ThriveLI simply offers a starting pointing which will get you motivated enough to succeed past ThriveLI. I have spoke to many individuals who became extremely successful and their first stop was a company similar to ThriveLI. They told me first hand that even though the company schemed them, they would not be where they are today without them, because they would have never initiated the process, they would have never founded other companies who have a good business model, good suppliers, etc. Bottom line is, the money you pay to a company like Thrive, is your toll to get involved. Certainly you overpaid 100 times over what you could have paid. You can get $300 worth of eBooks and learn the same thing that Thrive teaches you, but you are the only one to blame for not doing research. However if you did get the eBooks without going through Thrive there is no guarantee that you would succeed. The motivation wouldn't be their, and motivation is the key to your success, not just the knowledge.
Cons:
Thrives business idea doesn't seem to work (at least based on previous customer feedback). So take your motivation with you and move on to the next idea.
In my opinion, ThriveLI business idea will fail for 95% of people that sign up for it. It has a lot of loops holes that are not addressed that have to do with eCommerce.

How do you drive a lot of traffic to your website without paying for it?
You need extensive knowledge of Search Engine Optimization. Once you learn it, than you need a technology partner that can offer you the development and features to implement that Search Engine Optimization. Unfortunately Thrive teaches you nothing beyond the Google Guidelines what is offered to you for FREE, and their technology partner which is Storesonline aka Light Wave Web Builder is 10 years behind today's technology.
How do you convert the traffic that comes to your website?
Thrive tells its clients to design their own website. However most users are not equipped with the skills and the required knowledge to make a successful website. Nowadays visitors except a feature rich website that looks better or just as good as the major competitor in the industry. So if you are selling Computer Hardware, your website should compare to DELL.com or Newegg.com, not Do it yourself web design job. If you pay for your graphic design, be prepared to spend another $3000 for a decent design job on top of the Thrive fee.
How do you manage your business?
Thrive's Shopping Cart is an Online Shopping Cart, not a business management system. The most you will get out of it, is taking an order online. In order to actually manage your business from accounting to drop shipping you need an automated system. Paper work or Microsoft excel won't work well. You must have a sophisticated software to manage your business, an ideal solution should be a shopping cart website and a CRM (customer relation management) software integrated together.
I can list at least 15 more reasons from the top of my head, but I am sure that if you look hard enough you will find a company that can address all the obstacles and provide you with the solutions.
