HOW POPULAR IS THRIVELI
According to Quantcast.com Thriveli.com receives fewer than 300 visitors per MONTH and Thrivelearninginstitute.com receives fewer than 200 visitors per MONTH (recorded on 10/3/08)
This indicated that:
a) They are new company, therefore they don't get a lot of traffic
b) They are not a new company, so they might get their traffic through referrals and affiliates
c) They are simply a small company
AUTHOR'SOPINION: Based on the WHOIS traffic THRIVELI.com was registered on 3/8/08. The website is fairly new. According to SEMRUSH the website does not rank organically on the search engine (Free traffic from the Search Engines), but I do have to point out that according to SEMRUSH the organic competitors are RIPOFFREPORT.com and SCAM.com. My theory to why they are there is because THRIVELI.com has so many complaints that SEMRUSH thinks it's their competitors. According to SPYFU (Spyfu.com) THRIVELI.com website is paying for Pay per clicks for several keywords, they spend approximately $5 per day which accounts for their traffic that quantcast is reporting.
WHO ARE THE FOUNDERS OF THRIVELI?
THRIVELI.com does not provide any information of the management team or the founders. According to WHOIS, THRIVELI.com is registered to a Rasmussen, Dave. Usually the owners would normally register the company domain as it wouldn't make sense for an employee or someone unrelated to the company to register the company URL. Therefore Dave Rasmussen should have a share of ownership in ThriveLI.com
Searching for Dave Rasmussen on Google resulted in finding nothing. Searching for Thrive Founders on Google came up with some very interesting results.
I noticed the following posts:
SCAM.COM
Nikol- "Yes, BEWARE of Thrive Learning Institute! The latest addition to UT online 'educational' scams. The former founders of Tafiti Consulting a division of Media Learner, started Thrive because they got greedy and wanted the whole pie. Thrive uses the Lightwave Builder which is really a Bright Builders product (all these are UT based companies) who is in bed with Echo (Electronic Clearing House of SF, UT) online merchant account processors who also rip everyone off - they use First Regional bank, Ca - it's easier to get a mortgage or auto loan than a merchant account here. Then there is Prosper Inc, Mentoring of America, PMI (recently became a part of Media Learner) - all these coaching companies charge thousands of dollars to provide online websites and coaching by inexperienced kids. There is a 3 day cancellation policy which the major sales companies that sell you these programs such as Summit dont tell you about-it is almost impossible to get your money back. Watch out for Matt & Dave Rasmussen (Thrive), S. Sonnenberg (Media Learner) Todd Baum (Echo), Alex of Summit. These are scams and all UT based. Good Luck!"
Nikol mentions that Dave Rasmussen and Matt Rasmussen founders of Thrive are also related to many companies involved with online fraud. Notice that Nikol claims that the founder of THRIVELI.com are also the former founders Tafiti Consulting. Tafiti Consulting website is gotafiti.com (Tafiti Consulting is also related to theshipper.com and wholesalematch.com) gotafiti.com is registered to Sonnenberg, Steve from UTAH.
By searching for the names mentioned above and the keyword term "Utah". I was able to find a relationship link between Dave, Matt and Steven
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/1/a15/982 - Provo, UT (Matt)
http://www.linkedin.com/in/rdavidrasmussen - Provo, UT (Dave)
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/1/279/270 - Provo, UT (Steven)
The relationship link is that they are all in the same area of Utah, they offer a very similar service and they all have Scam complaints.
I was unsuccessful in finding any trace of the founders of ThriveLI, also being the founders of Tafiti Consulting (who have multiple complaints on RIPOFFREPORT similar to THRLIVELI complaints). However I do believe there is connection between the two companies since they offer similar services and are based in the same state.
customers.
THRIVELI STORES (TESTIMONIALS)?
On ThriveLI.com testimonial page, I find several websites with no creditability to Thrive.
Parleys Diesel Performance - (parleysdieselperformance.com) can also be accessed through (storesonline.com/site/988369/page/694621)
Before, I go on, notice that Storesonline is hosting this store. Storesonline has 391 COMPLAINTS on ripoffreport.com.
According to QuantCast, SEMRush and Spyfu, Parleys Diesel Performance is getting 17,000 visitors per month, they spend $300 on advertising per month and they rank pretty well. GOOD JOB!
Except this is the ONE and ONLY store that actually looks successful. And I also find it interesting that ThriveLI is in UTAH, Storesonline is in UTAH and PARLEYS DIESEL PERFORMANCE is in UTAH.
Art City Paint Ball - (artcitypaintball.com) has NO RANKING, NO TRAFFIC. Why is it on the testimonial page, if it is not successful?
The Scrap Booking Cricut (thescrapbookingcricut.com) has NO RANKING, NO TRAFFIC. But I do want to point out something about this site. LOOK AT IT! This website features extremely poor graphic design, poor SEO and LPO optimization and doesn't seem like it would convert visitors to customers.
One thing Thrive doesn't seem to explain in their sales proposal to their potential clients, is that a website won't be successful unless it is properly designed. The average client who looks into solutions like Thrive, generally doesn't have any experience with Graphic Design or a Web Design. The tools that Thrive is providing for website building seem significantly outdated. Today, customers expect to see a good looking and functional website, not an outdated, poorly designed layout.
I was unable to make out the name from the screen shot for their forth testimonial website. However from the comments the user left (below), it is highly unlikely that he was able to succeed with that store.
